I picked up my new Brentrup Eclispe today and the only bad thing is that I had to give back Hans personal mando I had on loan. It is a typical a Brentrup creation with great sound and playability. Hans is aways great to work with and strives to get what you're looking for in your mando in your hands.

His customer service is outstanding. I had an injury to my left hand that made playing my first Brentrup uncomfortable to play and Hans offered to trade me his mando. We made the trade and at that time he was starting the Eclipse and let me keep his until it was done.

Italian spruce top
One piece hard maple back
Killer chop.
Great projection

I've drooled over so many Brentrups its not even funny. Superb work once again Hans. Great tip of the hat to tradition as you move stylistically so far forward. Enjoy the great new mando Mr. Fisher!

I LOVE this design. It is smooth, while still having a bite. If that makes sense. Bravo, Mr. Brentrup.

That thing is gorgeous. It begs to have jazz played on it. I love the integrate of shape/contour of the finger-rest and fretboard extension.
