Bass runs

Someone have some techniques to play bass runs easily, and not try a lot of chords.

on the CD ROM of Gerry McKee, we can see 2 bass runs, but without explanations....

This is not CBOM specific, so it is not a perfect answer, but here is a guitar bass run tutorial that I like and have used a lot. It would not be that hard to convert it to sheet music or CBOM tab and still use the associated MIDI files for ear training. These are good, universal bass runs that seem to work in most any kind of music and can for the foundation for creating more sophisticated runs.
