If you're not far from the middle TN area and are interested in an early spring OT music event, #I thought I would post a heads-up about the Breakin' Up Winter Old-Time Music gathering, held the 1st weekend in March at the state park near Lebanon, TN. #Information and schedules can be found here, on the Nashille OT association website: NOTSBA/BUW link (http://www.nashvilleoldtime.org/index.htm?Newsletters/index.htm~mainFrame). Featured presenters this year are Mike Seeger, Charlie Acuff, Ron Pen, and others. #There are some workshops, demonstrations, guided jams, slow jams, and of course open jams. This event has been going on for a dozen years or so and I would guess attracts ~150 or so people from TN, AL, KY, NC, etc. #There is dorm-type group lodging still available, a campground on site, and lodging in Lebanon, a few miles away. #Saturday meals can be reserved until Feb 17.
