I'm pretty sure John Mc Gann has gypsy-jazz mando instructional material for sale on the net. I've forgotten where but someone else will know I'm sure. I'll but it myself when I recover from the holidays......

John McGann's Gypsy Mandolin lessons are available as downloads from djangobooks.com. There are six lessons covering Gypsy style picking technique, chords and scales and then several lessons on some Gypsy standards - Minor Swing, Limehouse Blues, Sweet Georgia Brown. Each lesson if $5. After you've paid they send you a link and they download automatically. Lessons typically have about 3-5 pages of text with tab/notation and then good quality MP3 samples of John playing the various exercises and tunes. Well worth the $30 for the whole series. Not aimed at the beginning player - more geared toward someone who has good fundamental skills/knowledge in place.
