Does anyone have music, either tabs or notation, for Canon in D, Ode to Joy, and or Jesu-Joy of Man's Desiring for mando or guitar? (with chords). Anything simple would be fine. Doin' a wedding in May. thanks.

co-mando.com has both Ode to Joy and Jesu-Joy of Man's Desiring. Ode to Joy has chords, but not Jesu.. I think alltabs.com also has versions of these...

Actually I have them all in standard notation. I have played weddings before and have other material as well. Let me know if you need anything and I will try my best to help ya out.

Butch Baldassari has a nice arrangement of Jesu for mandolin and guitar in Cantabile (http://soundartrecordings.com/morecantabilebook.shtml).

I recently came up with a simple arrangement for Pachalbel's Canon in D, with mandolin playing the melody, and guitar playing chords. If you (anyone) wants a copy, I'll get it scanned it and mailed to you as a PDF. It went over very well. Email me at home (marinos@chartermi.net). You do need a guitar or other instrument backing it though. The chord progression is: D A Bm F#m G D G A... over and over, and over.

Uh, how can Canon in D be in C major?:) Oh, and did you see how old this thread was? The couple has celebrated their 5th Anniversary, we hope!
