GEFool,
Looks like we are going to be the only mandolin pickers there. I guess the jams will be wide open then http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif . Do you think we can cover all of the jams in that place???

You guys can't cover all the jams so I'm volunteering to help out. #I'm planning to be there Friday night - Saturday night (Sunday morning).

I don't have plans to go this year but it's a heck of a lot of fun. I was blown away by the number of pickers year before last.

We just get to be there on Saturday night. I have a gig on Fri here and we can't leave until Sat morning.

Thanks for volunteering John. We are going to need all the help we can get.

Crowder, sorry you'll miss it. I hope the jams will be better than what I hear happened at IBMA this year. The jam police were everywhere.

Any other volunteers http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

February 3, 4, and 5. I think the Sheraton is booked so you'll have to find a nearby hotel.

If anybody wants to meet up I will be hanging out at the Lebeda booth jamming with whoever wants to come by and jam some. The booth will be located in the trade show room where you dont have to pay to get in.

I'll be at the Gibson room with lots of merchandise. Come by and play the Distressed Master Model, or any other model we have. We will have some guitars as well and maybe...just maybe...if forced...a banjo or two  .

I may drop by myself but it all depends on me being in town.

I live in nearby Dickson TN. I hope to be there Friday or Saturday, depending on the weather. #If the weather is bad and the courtyard is closed, the cacophany in the lobby requires Tylenol. #I'll bring my Collings MF. #This will be my first event with only a mando. #Travelling light is a great thing. #If any of you want to get together, send me a pm.

Hi, folks. What is this event? Pardon my ignorance on the topic. I'm looking forward to going to a mandolin expo type thing, to try out some great mandos.

Thanks for your help.

This is the second most important event of the year...just barely below IBMA. You will find PLENTY of mandolins to test drive while there and get to meet lots of incredible pickers and lots of incredible builders. If you like manodlins...or banjos...or acoustic guitars, this is the place to be. Now if electric guitars are your thing, it may not be the right place http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif .
