Im gonna need some hardware for my kit in a few months, and its not the cheapest thing in the worl so im gonna need to be "frugal" (if i can use that word) about tail piece, keays and such. Does anyone know of someone with good prices and allen tail pieces, or gotah keys? Or if anybody has a nice custom product, Id like to see it.

I would shop around on ebay, I have picked up sets of Schaller's tuners reasonably there. After spending so much on wood and all you do not want to get too cheap, but you can always trade out hardware as you want.

Not exactly cheap, I'm afraid, but... here's mine. (http://www.mandolincafe.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=9123&query=retrieval)

I really like both of those, especially the hamlett. I dont know if I have anything you would trade for, maybe a matchin trussrod cover endpin and pickguard, any wood of your choice?

After much research and looking at all that are out there I built my own. I used a solid piece of brass, worked it down on a belt sander. Wasn't too bad, it looks good and helped the tone on my MM.

The Weber tailpiece is nice and cheaper than the other two mentioned. I find mine easy to use.
