What a Friend

Well, just to test my recording setup getting ready for the January tune, i posted a recording of Joe Carr's beautiful arrangement of "What a friend we have in Jesus", which was published in the Summer 2005 Mandolin Magazine, as a misc. musing. I probably added more reverb than i should have, but it will have to do for now, because i don't have time to redo it.

Let me know what you think... i love this arrangement.

Nice job, glauber! Maybe just a touch too much reverb. Not horrible, though. I have downloaded this from Madozine but haven't even looked at it yet.

Mandolin Magazine (http://www.mandolinmagazine.com/), Summer 2005. I don't see this in their list of back issues, but it's probably because they haven't updated the Web page. I'd try contacting them to see if you could get the back issue. It's worth a subscription, there's always lots of great stuff.
