Here's pics of two F's I strung up today. Thought it might be interesting to see the contrasting looks and colors of the two.

People can say all they want about flame, scrolls, fancy tailpieces, and whatnot; but your carvings are uniquely beautiful. Bravo, Ken!

LOVE that relief carving on the back of the darker one Ken! Great work - as always! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif Is that reddish-orange one what you call 'pumpkin-colored?'

Ken - are both headstocks identical? (The front)

No Mark, One has a fern and the other says "Silverangel Classic". Thanks, here's a shot of the top of the dark one.

Nice work!
Someday I must get one with the relief carving.

Doug - does that indicate an additional MAS affliction? #Like you'll need one with a varnish finish, one with an angel painting on the back, and also one with the relief carving? #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif #You could get all three on one, but I'd go for one of each. #Ken would appreciate that too!

I was thinking one of those could be a two point like your cousin has. I may have to get a second job, after I find a first one. I quit my manager's job (of 22 years) six months after the Evil Empire bought the company.

Doug - hey, an even better idea! I might have to consider a two-pointer one day as well! That one of my cousin's IS a beauty - and it really barks too!

Well, as the owner (and going crazy waiting for it to arive BTW) of the "pumpken colored mando I have to say that adding the carving would have been a nice added touch and kind of wish I had but to say that I have even the slightest disapointment would be a big lie.
Ken has met every little whim and request of mine and has done it with class and style. This has been a wonderful process and if Carolina sounds anything like she looks look out. Ken told me she sound better, louder and woodier than his personal mando. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Dano - my apologies. #I recalled - after I saw that mandolin - that it's the custom 'Tequila Sunrise' color Ken whipped up for you! #Regardless, VERY COOL! #And certainly not a color you'll encounter often - if at all - in the jams you attend! #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
