I am a 50 year old male, (tattooless), and had this mid-life crisis thing where I thought about a tattoo, (my nephew is a well known tattoo artist). My line of thinking was to get a "torch" or "fern" done tastefully, somewhere discreet

I'm getting the circle of fifthes done on my shoulder to go around a ying yang I had done when I was 18. Could be a handy reference point at sessions too. So a usefull tattoo!! just my 2 cents

Don't forget the caption, "Live To Play, Play To Live", in Olde English lettering.

discreet? naw man, tattoo's are no longer taboo...wear it proudly! My fishing buddy got his ear pierced when he turned 50. Now that took some getting use to!
