Janet Davis description of the A9 starts with this: "The new Gibson A-9 is now hand made in the USA...". Does this imply that at one time it was not made here? Just wondering.

All of the Gibson mandolins are made right here in the USA.
That has to be a typo or some kind error on the JD site. Lp

All Gibson mandolins are hand made in Nashville in the good ole USA. The A9's have never been made anywhere else. Thank you.
