I don't think that's a 1960 model. Shouldn't there be a peghead decal that says "Original Contour Body"? Also, with the black pickguard and black case it looks like a model from the '70s.

Those are pretty lousy pictures. The pickguard could be tortoiseshell, I guess. You can get some info on Fender electric mandolins at www.provide.net/~cfh/fender2.html#mando
To date a Fender electric mando I've heard you have to take the neck off and there will be a date stamped on the bottom of the neck.

Well, thanks to the sharp eyes of someone like crosspicker, this mandolin was relisted (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3700027451&category=10179) as a 1970s model and sold for $1,000. Are you taking notes?
