Nice sounding examples, clear and easy to follow along. The only thing I'd suggest is adding tags to your MP3 files indicating where they are from so people who download these files can go back to your site later.

Thanks so much for looking the site over, and the kind review. And thanks for the idea. We will add on tags, had not thought of that.

This looks like very nice stuff. I liked the examples of your own playing on "Blackberry Blossom." I was hoping you were offering solos like that in your books. I've been using Steve Kaufman's 49 song/4 CD set "Steve Kaufman's Four Hour Bluegrass Workout" http://www.homespuntapes.com/prodpg....odType= (http://www.homespuntapes.com/prodpg/prodpg.asp?prodID=374&prodType=) This costs only $45 from Homespun Tapes, so it's a lot cheaper than yours ($80 for both books). The concept is the same, but with one difference. Your books have both regular notation and tab. That's very nice--a good selling point. (I'm paying one of my sons to type Kaufman's notation into the computer using a MIDI keyboard and Sibelius and generate tablature for me, but he's not yet done.) Best wishes.

These books and CDs address many levels of skill and are just plain fun to listen and play with. I just got my order in the mail and they are great. # Rick Williams obviously put a lot of thought and effort into his work and music, he makes learning easy. #It's a great confidence builder to be able to work on your own, the MP3's on your site are just a small taste of what is on the CD's. Have you thought about a DVD to show those of us who need visual aids? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I met Rick at a guitar store up in Tulsa. I was trying out a Huss and Dalton they had and he was kind enough to give me a free mini-lesson while I was there. Nice guy and good books too. After I recover from buying my last guitar, I'll have to get 'em.
