I am off to Japan for a business trip. I'll try to take in a Kiyomi performance next Saturday night. I'll let you know what it was like.

Check out Ginza Rocky Top in the Ginza district of Tokyo.
Plenty of bluegrass there - sometimes country though, so you need to get someone to call them.
here's me playing there (on the left) one Christmas evening.

Look around for some of those Eastman bowlback cases. In fact if you have email access and can cut a deal with a Japanese music dealer, you might want to look into importing some. Bet the folks in the classical section would be interested - I know I would.

Don't forget to tell Kiyomi that I think I am ready to marry her now.

Bob A: #Check your PM for my e-mail address. #Maybe we can make this happen.

MandoJeremy: I'll tell her she has a fan, but my day's of matchmaking are over--too risky.

Bob A:

I can get these cases for about $230 each not including shipping. Maybe we can get an order together for 10 or so and we can work a deal.

Here's another model (the case, not the girl). #These are a little more expensive. See the next post.
