Here are some photos of the new 8 string electric that Pavel Sucek built to me. I wished an electric mandolin with sound that would be very close to the sound of the acoustic mandolin. Design of this mandolin was inspired by the first two mandolins, that were made to the US musicians (I hope that the guys are going fine and are still well-contented with their instruments.. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif)
body : solid alder, top: walnut veneer (same as on headstock), pickup: noiseless singlecoil, arched fretboard, truss ord, etc..

Beautiful looking two-pointer emando! Did you help with the pick-up? The natural finish on the neck and rear-headstock is classy.

To Lee: No, I've only selected the pickup.. maybe someday in future I will upgrade to some pickup of own design but this works fine by now.
To Jefflester: Yes, you're right.. the fretboard is radiused
