I remember seeing a simple doublestop exercise in the front of one of Jethro's out of print books (not the big Complete Jethro Method book). It was beautiful-sounding, and very simple. I have tried to reproduce it by harmonizing a major scale, but his exercise was a little different, much nicer to hear. Since the book is out of print (I think it was Bluegrass Mandolin Techniques), I can't simply buy the book.

Could someone post the exercise (or sell me the book)?

Thanks.

You can get an .mp3 of Mr. Burns playing it here. (http://www.robcoleman.com/jethro/) There's no tab for it, but you can pick it out by ear - slow it down with Windows Media Player or other players.
