Anybody know how to date Collings mandolins by the serial numbers, in particular, the MT2 models?

My MT2 has the date written on the label (1/02). Below that is the model number and below that, between the printed words "Austin Texas" is written the serial number (which happens to be 106).

I have #252, but there is no date written on the label.
Mine (#82) has a month and day written on the Label. #I can't remember the exact date but it was built in '01. #Bill Collings also signed the label. #Does he sign the new ones?

My MT-2 is #155. I called Collings and they told me it was shipped out of the factory in April 2002. It was signed by Bill Collings.
