Rose and The Rose

Howdy, I am asking a question of which I am almost positive as to the answer before I ask...and yet, I ask.

I saw a mandolin today that is handmade. It said "The Rose" in small print on the headstock and it had a star (kindof) on the headstock. This isn't the same builder who makes the
"Rose" mandolins like the #29 that Scotti plays, is it?

I think the builder is a member of the mandolincafe but as a newby, I don't really know everyone or the scene very well, though I am learning.

Can you help me?

Not a great picture. Rose #16. Built by Darby in the winter of 2004. Same builder as #29.

That's a beautiful peghead. Is the craftsmanship as clean, "flowing", and precise as it looks in the photo? If it sounds as good as it looks, you've got a real jewel!
