Hi,

I have a chance to buy a 1999 Terris F5. It looks and sounds great, plays easily, and appears to be a great mando. Fit and finish very nice, slighly wider fretboard, nice binding, etc.

I know the builder is from NJ, but I've never heard of him before today. Anyone have one or have info to share?

Thanks, Larry

I know Michael having been to Menzel Violins (Mo Fiddles) in Livingston NJ for jams and events etc. where he does repairs and such during the day.If you're in the area, he has some hanging up there. He does some very artistic work. As you say, he likes wide fingerboards and does a good finish. He knows what he's doing and does some real nice banjo building as well. #He builds a very solid, weighty instrument and has been building many, many years. PM me for more.
