-Congratulations To Eddie Adcock
2005 Bluegrass Hall Of Fame Inductees-

Welcome to the 31st Annual Bill Monroe Hall of Fame & Uncle Pen Days Festival held in Bean Blossom at the historical Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in Beautiful Brown County, Indiana. Bean Blossom has been considered to be the "Mecca of Bluegrass" and is the home of the longest, continuous running festival in the world - the Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival. as we listen to the music of Bill Monroe and celebrate his life through stories and song, we can not forget those who influenced him over his lifetime.
One of Bill's greatest musical influences was the great fiddle playing of his uncle Pendleton Vandiver. He was so moved by his uncle's music that he played tribute to him in the song Uncle Pen, which went to #1 in the country music charts. we also can not forget the Bluegrass Hall of Fame, which Bill created to honor those he felt had made a substantial contribution to bluegrass music. There are several individual artists and/ or bands honored in the Bluegrass Hall of Fame, which opened sixteen years ago this month here in Bean Blossom, Indiana. The Bill Monroe Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Country Star Museum, and Uncle Pen's cabin is free to all festival ticket holders. Join us on Saturday, September 24, 2005 as we pay tribute and honor Eddie Adcock, as this year's inductee into the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Hall of Fame.
We'd like to thank our sponsors: Bluegrass Now, Coca-Cola, D'Addario Strings, Gibson O.A.I. and Music City Coach for giving us the support we need to continue the bluegrass tradition. Also, a special thanks goes out to the volunteers and workers whose help and support is greatly appreciated and needed to keep Bean Blossom alive!
