I successfully fit the bridge feet on my A-9 last night. After studying all of the advice, I made the attempt with great results. No visible light under the feet, and and no shiny spots on the feet after my final sanding. Results: increased volume and balance. Thanks for all of the tips and instruction given!

I would also like to thank all you guys for your advice on fitting a bridge. It was the first time I have done it. Put a new ebony sullivan bridge on my MK and what an amazing difference. I would strongly suggest to any MK owners who might have the factory rosewood bridge on there, to make the $45 change to a better bridge and discover a brand new mandolin that you didn't even know you had!
