HELP ME!
I need a mandolin-teacher!! There arn't loads of them here in Sweden, you know.
Anyway. I live in the south-east region of Sweden, on a little island called Öland.

I have looked everywhere for a banjo-teacher but havn't found a singel one.
Now, I want to learn mandolin for real, and therefore I'm looking for a MANDOLIN-TEACHER.
Anyone who knows anything about this subject, please let me know!!

you may ask Magnus Zetterlund. His name on the Café is "Magnus", you can send him a message. I think he's studing music in Stockholm. I know this isn't the southeast of Sweden, but maybe he can help you.

Cheers
Michael

Dear Banjo,

Why not make a trip over the water next spring to Sore Fingers...the annual bluegrass old time school held in the Cotswolds, abut 25 miles outside of Oxford? Several chaps from Sweden attend including a dobro player (Hamish) and a guitar player (Matts). The week long school has a beginner's section, and for more experienced players, Mike Compton and John Moore are taking mandolin classes in 2006. I can't think of a much nicer place than Oland to be playing my mandolin. I have been there twice.

Hej dag!
