Picked up an f style como mandolin recently and can’t find a single bit of information about them. I bought it as a campfire instrument but I can’t believe how much it has exceeded my expectations. Anybody out there know about como mandolins?

Couple of hits on Google search for "Como guitars" refer to Korean-made instruments imported maybe 20-25 years ago. Acoustic guitars, some Fender-clone electrics. No mention of mandolins, but I'd hazard a guess of either Japanese or Korean manufacture, maybe 1990's...? This Spinditty page (https://spinditty.com/instruments-gear/Japanese-Manufacturers-of-Made-In-Japan-Badged-Guitars-from-1950-to-1980) is really helpful in coming up with Japanese instrument brands 1950-80, but I don't see Como listed there. Any mention of Korean manufacture brings to mind the giant Samick instrument manufacturing enterprise, but I couldn't come up with a connection to Como.
