While going down the rabbit hole of double necked mandolin-guitars in the Emando forum started by Jim Hillburn, I came across this video by B-compact about their acoustic, double necked, mandolin-guitar with removable necks. Pretty cool.

Intriguing design approach. Impressed with how well the strings stay in tune while disassembled. Of course the mandolin needed more tuning than the guitar. ;) Eliminates the problem of having to have an outsize case. I wish he'd explained his choice to have a seven-string guitar - not familiar with them.
