Between Get Up John, Cotton Eyed Joe and Sleepy Eyed John, I'm getting confused.

Well, I'm not sure. I know it was Norman Blake, but I thought it said "Sleepy Eyed Joe" on my internet radio station.
The website http://folkindex.mse.jhu.edu/S11.htm#Sleeyjo
indicates "Sleepy Eyed Joe" was cut 7 on Whiskey Before Breakfast"

If you mean the song that uses an alternate open D tuning,I know it as Get Up John/Sleepy Eyed John, then I am currently working it out with my instructor. We are transcribing it from a Frank Wakefield album. It seems to be a pretty easy song for the left hand but a bear for the right. I will try and get it into Tab in the next two weeks or so. I am just swamped with work now. Otherwise I can send you a copy of my chicken scratches on paper, and you can finish it.
I believe Sam Bush does it on a instructional video.
