Hey, I was watching the Unledded DVD with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant this weekend and I noticed that, on the "Battle of Evermore", the mandolin was played different than the studio version is. Well, after studying every shot of Jimmy Page I could within the song I am still left with spots that I just don't know how to play. After trying to figure out what he was doing by my self I tried the internet in hopes of finding out exactly how to play it and I couldn't find the version of the song from this DVD. Does anyone know where I could possibly find the tab for this version of the "Battle of Evermore"?

Cory,

I'm not laughing at you. #I'm just laughing because this was my first mandolin song that I learned back in 1986. #After learning that song I put the mandolin down and didn't pick it back up for 19 years.

I know, don't ask.

Anyway....

...back in 1986, way before Unledded was even a thought, I intently listened to BoE right from the LZ IV cassette and picked it up note for note. #I wasn't sure that I was playing correctly until I saw JP playing a few years later on VH1.

I'm pretty sure that how JP plays is the correct way to play BoE but I'm not 100% percent certain.

As for finding the tab, I wouldn't have a clue.

How much of the song do you know?
