I wish I had a better camera, then again maybe it is better this way. This also represents my first attempt at French Polish. I used Orange Shellac, but I think Amber would have been better.
Time to sweep the floor and start the next two.

Very pretty. What did you use for stain? Heah in New Hampsha we route for the Red Sox. You must be a transplant to Maine. How is the sound of your instruments changing as you get more experience building? I'm still trying to get a tight fit between the tone bars and the top of my IV kit #1. I assume the professional builders out there have developed more efficient methods of construction than I have or else they work for minimum wage or worse. I'm just taking it slowly and trying to do a good job with each step. Keep up the good work but please reconsider the Yankees. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Stephen, I used alchohol-based NGRs for this one, but in the past I have used Lady Clairol permanent hair color. This one I used three different ngr colors: Yellow, med. brown, and black mixed with the brown.

As for the Yanks, I dont think they will even make the wildcard. I moved to Maine from NY 2 years ago.

What did Maine do to deserve a Yankee fan?...LOL Lived for 19 years in Massachusetts but always loved my vacations to Maine. Keep an eye out for Stephen King http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Jason, I know exactly where Stephen King lives, in Bangor, having been past his house many times. Even seen him at Borders in Bangor. As for mando content, he plays in a band, and I heard that he owns a mandolin. I could be wrong, but that was what someone had told me once.
