Ok so I just can't keep it to my self any longer. This is a shot of my new Driftwood after a couple of coats of finish. Can't wait to see it after it's buffed out.

Being by definition slab-cut, quilted is difficult to find in large boards...
That's why this bass built by Arnold Schnitzer is such a wonderful display of some very nice quilted Bigleaf maple....
quilted- my fav. beautiful stuff.
