I have a bunch of Italian tunes on my sheet music page (http://www.paperclipdesign.com/19ctunes/). However, they are not the usual standards and they are in std notation. You prob want ones on the order of Santa Lucia, Funiculi Funicula, Come Back to Sorrento and the Neapolitan Tarantella. These are the "Danny Boys" of Italian music, tho much loved.

I am not 100% sure but Terry Pender's Italian Mandolin (http://www.mandolincafe.com/strings/announce.html) (scroll down a little to read about it) is available from Plucked String. I think it has some standards in notation and tab, but check first with PS if you don't read notation.

Also, if you can deal with abc notation you can search and download from JC's ABC Tune Finder (http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/findtune.html).

Is there a site with midi samples of Italian music as well as standard notation?
