The David Long and KC Groves house concert was great last night. A couple of hours of great old-time duets and fiddle tunes. Their harmonies are super sweet, and the mando picking is what you would expect from someone like Dave; driving, yet still in control. Some killer blues licks, too.

Though, for some reason, I can't get the image of Close Encounters of the Third Kind out of my mind http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

With the film crew, we were close to a full house. Darren's assessment was spot on - it was one fine performance. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting David and KC.
