I've had this mando about a month but a friend drowned my digital camera in a creek while we were camping... long story... #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Now the camera has been replaced so I thought I would post some pics. As good as this mando looks, the tone and volume are unexpected in a new instrument. It compares closely with my picking partner's 2002 Master Model.

Yes, it is a Dude strap, the best I've tried.

Yup, that's a Chris Stanley, alright. #About as traditional as you can get, right down to the hand-applied finish and the french polishing. #And I agree that the most logical comparison is the Gibson Master Model. #But wow, the Stanley is half the price of the MM.... #And of course, there are other reasons to buy from a guy like Chris. #
