All-

I've been away waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long with professional transition having been the focus of the last 18 months. I'm now in Pittsfield, MA and ISO mando action. I'm first looking for a teacher who is close by, and that will not require me to take out student loans for an hour lesson a week(unlike the Berkshire Music School!). Beyond that I'm looking to be able to play in a relaxed setting; at this point I'm really looking at a lot of klez and blues, and old time. Any leads will be deeply appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

just curious-where were you located before your move?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

remember you are right near the ny border - there may be a good teacher in the east of albany area....

Ira-
You might recall that I had been in Pittsburgh for 7 years. I know that Albany is relatively close, but its a solid hour away. I'm hoping to find someone much closer. Any leads will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks!
