And a pic of the back and sides. Tulip Satinwood grows up in the rainforests of norther New South Wales and is a great tonewood. Unfortunately just about impossible to get hold of

The bindings are very pale spalted Tasmanian blackwood.

Beautiful. I like the recurve under the fretboard extension too. Nicely done!

These pictures are NOT helping my MAS any. I'm developing a yen for a L & H style 2 pointer now!

Indeed! Can you shed some light on why you opted for the negative recurve under the elevated fingerboard? What is the scale length? It is lovely work. I love the simplicity of decor.

The carving around the top of the soundboard is a way to tie together the fretboard and the body without all those peculiar bits of wood and binding that Gibson developed at the neck body joint. I can see what they do and the thinking behind it, but it looks messy I think. Standard 13 7/8" scale. Thank you for the kind words.
