Owing to a delay in the printing and mailing of our RBW '05 brochures, the deadline for scholarship submissions has been extended to August 31.

Three full scholarships will be awarded this year to young bluegrass pickers aged 13-24, which covers all RBW tuition plus meals and hotel costs during the weekend. Some travel reimbursements are also available for scholarship recipients who will be traveling to Roanoke from a great distance.

Special thanks to Gibson Original Acoustic Instruments for their generous support of this scholarship. #It is funded by the proceeds of a raffle for a new Gibson instrument. Last year's raffle for a new F9 mandolin is funding this year's scholarships, and next year's will be funded by the proceeds from our current raffle, for a new Earl Scruggs model banjos.
