Anyone out there in Mandoland have any experience replacing tuners on a Rover RM-75. I 'd like to upgrade...

chn, A set of schallers will fit but,the screw holes in the back of the peghead will not line up.You can use the old toothpick in the hole trick with a dot of black from a sharpie marker.The ones that will show are the top and bottom hole.Just drill new holes with a pin vice and you are all set.

I almost forgot to mention,while your at it,replace the bridge with a good ebony one if you have not already done so.You can get everything from First Quality.Try one of Bills bridges,you won't be sorry.You will get a much better sound out of it,compared to that cheap rosewood one that comes with it.These things can sound good with a little work.I got one and fooled around with it just to see what you could do with these things.Set them up right and you could play it on stage.
