Welcome to the Cafe. I'm kind of fond of this one of my Spira mandolin. The soundhole is modeled after a cat's eye.

I can't locate a copy right now, but I always liked that shot of Pete Martin with a wry grin on his face holding his Gibson with the busted off scroll on the headstock. Maybe he'll post it.

However, I also always liked this picture that the builder sent me before it was varnished. I think the workshop table makes for a cool background.

Explained (https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/entries/713-Why-is-my-picture-turned-sideways), in more detail than most want or need.

Essentially, you're taking the photo with a device that does not understand how to provide the correct and most basic orientation. Even iPhones suffer from this. Dan finally figured out a technical hack for the classifieds so that much of this is resolved, but the current version of this forum is not yet there. Possibly the next will.

Thanks, no worries. Mando looks good upside down and backwards. Sounds better.
