Try to learn some of the Doctor's right hand licks. #On the On Fire & Ready! album, I put the Hank Williams song "Low Down Blues" to a New Orleans groove and played mostly those kind of piano lines and riffs. Ann Rabson (of the blues group Saffire) played some 'fonky' piano on this, and it's tricky to tell where the piano stops and the mando starts. I ended up dumping my vocal track in favor of one from Gaye Adegbalola (also of Saffire) which was really benefitted the track. (My wife's suggestion).
