After visiting me, and at the tender age of eight, my niece has fallen in love with the mandolin. I've promised to buy her a mandolin if she promises to get lessons. So far, she's the only one of the family that has shown any interest in my favourite instrument, so I'm willing to give her all the encouragement that I can!
