Saw in a recent thread by Scott that it's possible - even easy - to embed Facebook videos here. These are a couple of Sierra Hull's posts over the past couple years that I enjoyed. The code creates what looks like just an image, but click it and the video plays.

Tenor guitar - "Deep River Blues" - on the occasion of Doc's birthday

I was lucky enough to see Doc and Merle twice at UCLA in the 70's. Great musicians and down to earth people.

I don't know if it's just me - but there's a lot of empty space in the original post - No video link at all ??,
Ivan

Hmm. I can see the videos here in the upper right corner of the USA. Maybe a Facebook thing? Here's the link from the second of the two embedded videos:

Apparently, even YouTube and Vimeo videos don't consistently display for everyone on the board, so it must be too much to hope for with Facebook videos.

Both sound great to me (in Southern California). Thanks for posting!

Well, here's a weird one - I can see the videos fine on my MS Surface (windows 10, firefox) but on my office desktop PC (windows 10, firefox) I just have a big empy space where the video should be. Not even a visible frame.

Anyway, that was the first time I have heard her sing. She has a good voice.

That's about the same time frame I saw Doc and Merle. 1977 setting in a field in Glen Rock PA. There was some real talent there over two days. They called the Festival, Goin' Fishin'. The Rowan Brothers were there. Byron Berline and Sundance, which included Dan Crary and Vince Gill (Mandolin/Lead singer). Vassar Clements' Band. John Hartford. Had a real cast.
