Hey Sam Fans!!
A little update fromt he world of Sam! Here goes! Sam will be making his first appearance (under his own name, that is) at The Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, July 23. He will appear in 2 shows that night with his band. This will be a great night for Sam, who as a teen once played with Roy Acuff at the Opry at the old Ryman Auditorium. "My dad is as thrilled as I am," Sam said. Fans should call 871-OPRY (871-6779) for tickets.
Earlier that day (1 p.m. CST), Sam will be featured at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for an interview and performance. Sam and Keith will be on hand for a type of "workshop" program, and noted music historian Jay Orr will moderate the event in the wonderful Ford Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
