My daughter just sent me a e-card from the collection linked below. There are no mandos unfortunately, but Buddy the Frog plays banjo and some of his friends join him on guitar and fiddle. All the cards rate at least a chuckle. They seem to be a great choice to send to old-time and bluegrass friends for lots of occasions.

That reminds me of the banjo playing toad from Bagpuss. Which in turn reminds me that the Bagpuss soundtrack CD features loads of great mandolin. Worth buying if you like that sort of thing.

Do you get Bagpuss in the States? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
