Does anyone know anything about Aiersi Octave Mandolins? I have not been able to find a reasonable good starter Octave Mandolin or Mandocello in the US. Gold Tone, Eastman and a couple others are out there but no one has any in stock.
I am considering importing a Chinese Octave Mandolin made by Aiersi but I can find no helpful information about them. I have ordered samples but I was hopping someone had some experience with them.
Thanks

Is that the same company making selling resonator guitars on eBay? Those look pretty decent.

I just went to their website. I don't see any octave mandolins but I can say that their mandolins don't look real impressive.

Have you got a link?

Have you tried Trinity College? Their OM's are short-scale, but they get pretty decent reviews. I strummed a couple chords on one today, as musicians were "changing guard" at one of our local International Make Music Day events, and it really projected. Trinity College is a Saga brand and there are quite a few Saga dealers around.
