Great sound! What I'd call a real 'old time' sound. Your musicianship and that of your friends always makes for such a fun listening, Diptanshu.

Sounds like that dotara has a skin top? Very cool.

Nice. I enjoyed that very much. How is a dotara tuned?

Nice, Diptanshu. The dotara certainly has the American old time sound.
That's a Lyon and Healey dotars, isn't it?

Great sound and playing, Diptanshu. Is that dotara fretless?

I always enjoy your music. Thanks for posting. I hope you make it to the US Mid-Atlantic region sometime so I can hear you in person! Actually, I'd like to hear you in India, as well, but it is unlikely I will get there. Too bad for me! Still, you never know:grin:.

When are you scheduled to be in St. Louis? I'm a couple of hours west of there.

That is great news! I am in the very Southern part of New Jersey, not far from Wilmington, Delaware. The Philadelphia gig is an easy ride for me. Do you know the venue there yet? Also, where is your New Jersey gig? If you are trying to fill in with some smaller gigs, let me know; I have a venue in mind that I can approach for you. Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss this in more detail.

I am really glad you are touring here!

Best wishes,

Bob

Is that Portland Maine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portland,_Maine) or Portland Oregon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portland,_Oregon)? It kinda matters from a trip planning perspective for anyone wishing to attend, because those two Portlands are on opposite sides of the country, about 3200 miles (5150 km) apart. :)

(Presumably it's not one of the other Portland instances though - I just learned today that there are allegedly a couple dozen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portland) :disbelief: other different places named Portland in the U.S., although I'd guess that the one in Oregon and the one in Maine are probably more well-known.)
