I have never heard of Richard until I came upon this video. I like his playing but he has his history a bit off.

Richard Durrant is great -- I've seen him in concert a couple of times, as he comes to our local theatre on his annual pre-Christmas carol tour. Very enjoyable stage persona and a wonderful eclectic musician, flitting between folk, classical, world and early music. That's pretty much my own mix of styles (although at nowhere near the same level), so I feel a great affinity. Anybody who can feature a cover of John Dowland and Fairytale Of New York in the same concert is alright with me!

Cafe member Will Fly is a friend of Richard's, and has posted about his tenor guitar here (https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?126847-Richard-Durrant-concerts).
