I was wondering if anyone knows if a Gibson F4 will fit in a standard Calton, or will I have to special order one to accommodate the shorter neck?

Thanks!

I tried my A2 after reading your post, and the body was very tight and the neck too short. Not sure about the F4, but would assume it would be the same.

Someone was selling custom Calton (or one of the top-tier fiber cases) for F-4 few weeks ago on classifieds... perhaps it's still available.

I know that vintage A's have a larger body than most new A's.
I think the F body may fit, it may be another story when it comes to the neck.

Thanks for taking the time to do a test run!
