This week’s unusual instrument is a circa 1900 Howe-Orme Style No. 50 Cello Mandola. “Cylinder” top mandocello with mahogany back and a short 19 ¾” scale length, elevated fingerboard, inlayed pickguard, great player with warm tone. Forgive the amateur vocals but I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic!
