Here are some pics of these mandos I've been building out of 100 year old red spruce. The sound is great.

Ken,how about a close up of that inlay? Painting? Carving? I'd love to get a closer look. Alan

I am the owner of the mandolin in the close-up. #Ken has done a wonderful job, I cannot begin to describe the depth of this mandolin. #Its only a couple weeks old and already sounds better than it did when I received it. #Ken and Laura are classy people and very easy to deal with, you can only appreciate the sound and artistry only if you hear it, play it and/or see it. #

By the way, I have no financial interest with Silver Angel Mandolins, I own four different mandolins. Bob

I believe that is one of his oil paintings on the back of the one mando.....so yea lets see some close ups!!
Here is a close up of the headstock. I will be able to have a close up of the oil painting soon, as Shane Bartley has it right now for a couple weeks while I am building his distressed model. He's bringing it back today.
thanks
Oh, there is a closer view on my web-site;

I think these should be the once-and-for-all design for fingerboard extensions. Like it/them!
