why yes, the fretboard is a bit flamey, you must be some sort of psychic wombat electrician http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

heres a better shot of the flameyness

wow, lots of big, blurry pictures...

the sound is better than the other 2 sweet peas that i have played, but probably becuase it is broken in. it is quite loud, mainly. its got a real nice high end, and the open G is suprizingly Bass-y. the only lack of tone is the midrange, which gets drowned out by the extremes. it seems to be a good classical mando and is definitely not a bluegrasser. i think it will suit me quite well for what i am trying to get out of it.

i agree, i made you a tuning bottle, basically a plastic soda bottle filled with a certain amount of water, and when you blow across the top, you get a perfect g, you could bring that to canada or make your own, it's pretty neat btw got a scroll you could post in the scroll section??? just kidding.
