That oval hole intrigues me. Does the neck connect at the 12th fret? Is the top spruce or redwood?

Someday Ken, One of yours is on my wish list. They look awesome and sound the same. Whenever I get the scratch I know what I want built, if you'd do it that's the main ? with what I want done to the angel relief carving?

The neck connects at the 15th fret. This mandolin has a wonderful sound, somber, woody and deep, and at the same time clear highs. It's really enjoyable to sit and play it. Completely different animal from the F5.:mandosmiley:
