Hey y'all, neighborhood newbie asking more questions.

So I use Goldengate picks, and I love how easily they move across the strings and the tone I get from them, but I have sweaty hands and the dang things slip out of my grip. I don't want to tighten my grip; I am not trying to develop bad habits as a new player. Are there any picks similar to Goldengate out there with a better grip? Should I just score my Goldengates?

I like the grip of Wegen picks and the M150 might approximate the shape of the Golden Gates.

If you like the Golden Gate, I think the closest pick with some texture is the Primtone semi-round 1.3mm with grip

They have 2 beveled corners and one rounded corner. The rounded corner will be most similar to the Golden Gate corners. I actually prefer to use the beveled corners.

I have got primetones, and, for lack of a better description, I don't like how they stick to the strings. It's louder when I pick using the primetones, but it's not a smooth slide of the pick off the string.

You could drill some holes in you Golden Gate picks

Ok, someone has to. Sooner or later you're going to buy a Blue Chip, so get it over with and see if you like them.

I've taken a tool and scored hatch mark lines on picks to give them texture, works pretty well on some materials.
